Here is a teacher who put together a short video to highlight the power of blogging in his classroom. It takes a few minutes to load, so be patient. If this is what kids are doing in high school, we can do it in elementary school!
Think of the possibilities...collaboration with childrens authors, expert scientists, or even someone more familiar like Aunt Betty, all in different parts of the world.

but mine would probbly have to wait about 5-10years. They are only 4 years old to begin with! Hehe.

Its funny but four and five year olds are going to be more familiar with computers than a lot of adults sooner than later. Hopefully, yours will be exposed to the power of technology in their classroom as soon as possible. It shall indeed be the next big thing...already on its way (for schools at least.)
